Shelves: autobiography disappointing book, no inside information, no interview with Mourinho, no interesting insights. It does tend, though, to go on about his antics at his various clubs and doesn't really explain the art of winning. In the end all you really learn is that Jose spends a lot of money, seems to win trophies more by luck than judgement and upsets a lot of people. Jose Mourinho is a much better tactician than that and more time should have been spent on that aspect. It's ok though so I'd recommend giving it a read.

It was really just a collection of quotes from other easily accessible sources, mixed with poor attempts at humour. I don't believe I learned anything from this book.

I was wanting to learn about his younger life as well.. The book is basically a bunch of quotes from other sources however, rather than facts themselves about Mourinho.

The book is an overview of what he has accomplished rather than actually explaining what has happened in his career. Take This was a disappointing book for me.

Take nothing away from the author it is a well written book. Just not what I expected. This fascinating book charts his rise from relatively humble beginnings as assistant coach to Sir Bobby Robson, to become the most sought-after club manager in Europe.
