I understand that this book was targeted for the Indian masses, but would it be too much of a problem, if the author had taken care to actually write a little better thereby helping the readers improve their language as well?

I don't really understand why very few Indian authors pay attention to the prose in their books. It's not that difficult to write better if you have a plot in your mind, is it? Random Italics- Maybe it's just me, but there were some words that were unnecessarily emphasized using italics.

But there are too many "dadas" and "babus" in the initial parts of this book. And I'm Bengali. The MC- Yeah, Benoy is incredibly annoying and he talks like a 12 year old boy who is "misunderstood". I swear I really wanted to punch him when he would get into his self-obsessed monologues. Also, how can a 20 year old be THAT immature?!
