And he is very fair about not making too strong of claims but rather letting the science speak for itself. Obviously, scientific knowledge is always evolving, so you have to keep that in mind.

But this book lays it out there for you to judge. Part of what the book is about is explaining various "models" that people have proposed over the years regarding what determines how well people can perform in running Some say delivery of oxygen to the muscles anaerobic model.
